South African star shines.
Connie Chiume managed to leave a big mark in the entertainment industry of South Africa. She have been making different moves both locally and internationally. She's now adding another lifetime achievement award. Connie is a talented local actress and filmmaker who had a long journey all the way from her hometown, Welkom. The actress have been in the entertainment industry playing her roles for over forty years. Connie Chiume also managed to play role of telling South African stories in order to give herself and audience a specific meaning. She believed that telling different South African storied was a way of keeping herself consistent and alive till now. That was a way of chasing her dreams in the entertainment industry and on our screens.
The actress has been featured in most known local productions like Rhythm City, Zone 14 and so on. She was also landed roles internationally in Black is King and Black Panther. Connie managed to receive her first lifetime achievement award at South African Film and Television Awards (SAFTAS) earlier in September. She is now about to receive the second award in October. She will be honored as the Hollywood and African Prestigious Awards (HAPA). The award will be regarded as the International Lifetime Achievement in Entertainment. Connie Chiume is grateful to receive two awards in the space of two months.
The Hollywood and African Prestigious Awards (HAPA) honor the different talents across specific genres form fashion to film. Connie will receive her award on the 29 October because that's when the awards will be taking place. The aim of these awards is to connect all the excellence of the blacks globally. There are many fans who are happy for Connie Chiume and they have been praising and congratulating her. They told her to keep on shining by taking South Africa to another level and keep shaking the world through her different talents.
